Subject:[amigactive] Bit OT: DOS mode in WindowsME

Hi Everybody,

Not very amiga but I'm sure you guys are probably more helpful then
most PC mailing lists :)

Anyway I've been using WinME on my PC (spit) for a while, and I've
been having trouble playing some old but rather good games because
Microsoft in their infinite wisdom have left out restart in MS-Dos
mode (which is strange seeing as WinME is based on 9x so must still
integrate into Dos unlike NT)

So, does anybody know how to create a DOS booting system, prehaps with
a floppy disk or CD or something? I can boot from the WinME CD and
get into dos but that lacks sound drivers etc. I presume if I have an
autoexec.bat and config.sys on a disk I can have SB16 drivers in C or
something (my Soundcard has built in "legacy" system ;)

Anybody know where I could download working soundblaster DOS drivers
or prehaps a stripped down MS-DOS boot disk with at least EMM etc.

Andrew.
